Committee
The CURTS Committee organises the society’s activities and manages its finances and publicity. It consists of six elected members in addition to the Senior Treasurer:
- President: Tomas Heger (th676)
- Manages committee, chairs meetings, guides the overall direction of the society.
- Secretary: Eleanor Marshall (the crsid formerly known as em919)
- Holds the CURTS Library, performs outreach (including managing the social media), and keeps minutes of meetings.
- Junior Treasurer: Emily Betts (eb981)
- Manages finances, including collecting membership fees (see ‘Membership’ for more details) as well as managing stash.
- Vice President: Oliver Halliwell (omh25)
- Provides for leadership in the event of the President’s absence or otherwise lack of availability and serves as the President of Vice who organises our bi-weekly pub nights.
- Guildmaster: David Ruston (dr601)
- Organises and makes rulings on the Guild of Heroes, Rapscallions and Allied Trades (see ‘What We Do’ for more details).
- Technomancer: Benedict Orlich (bo310)
- Manages the technical infrastructure utilised by the society, including the discord server and this website. Therefore, this is the most important role :).
Members of the CURTS Committee are elected by members of the society at the Annual General Meeting. The responsibilities of the committee members are outlined in the CURTS Constitution.
